Hyderabad: A program to felicitate 33 provisionally selected SCTSI/RSIs has been organized by the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda on Monday at CP Office Neredmet.
As part of Community Policing initiative, Rachakonda Police has organized free coaching to the rural and unemployed youth of Rachakonda to equip them to appear all competitive examinations especially for the Police department with help of District collectors of Rangareddy & Bhuvangiri Yadadri District.
The free coaching centers have been set up from Tuesday at Amberpet Car Head Quarters, Ibrahimpatnam, Pahadisharif, Choutuppal, Bhongir(Bibinagar) with the co-ordination of Dist Collector & District Magistrates, Ranga Reddy and Yadadri-Bhongir.
In this regard, PJR Coaching center, Hyderabad has organized indoor classes and B.Kistaiah, ACP, CAR & team of AR Hqrts staff Rachakonda organized the outdoor training to the students.
2683 students enrolled for the coaching and nearly (1946) students regularly attended the indoor classes. Subsequently about (2000) students qualified for the preliminary examinations and (1453) students qualified during the PET/PMT examinations conducted by the TSLPRB.
Several amenities were also provided by the Rachakonda police like the State & National Athletics were called for conducting the Running, Shotput, long jump and High jump events, various types of new equipment and utilized the same for the training. Free, Tea and snacks have been supplied to the students twice a day in indoor classes.
Free bus service arranged for candidates from remote villages in Narsyanpur PS limit to facilitate candidates in attending classes at Chottupal. Milk, Bananas, and Eggs were supplied in the outdoor classes. (2501) Nos of T-Shirts and (2501) Nos of Study Materials have been provided to the students.
After completion of above PET & PMT, the above coaching centers had conducted the indoor classes for mains examination for (1453) students. Out of which (33) personnel were selected as Sub-Inspectors of Police (Civil/AR/TSSP) in which 12 Civil SIs, 18 Armed Reserve SIs, 2 TSSP SIs, 1 SFO.
Selected candidates are mostly from humble backgrounds like father Auto-driver or parents working as a daily wage worker. One candidate Venkanna has got 6th rank in the state. Selected candidates have to undergo induction basic training and the result of SCT PCs is still awaited. Apart from the above, about (46) students got selected in various competitive examinations like Railways, TSPSC Group-IV, VRO and JPS (Junior Panchayathi Secretary), etc.
Chief Guest B.Shivadhar Reddy IPS, Addl DG Personnel has congratulated the students on their success and advised them to remember their hard work and humble backgrounds and serve the common people when they join the service. He appreciated efforts of CP Rachakonda in prerecruitment training for SIs & also for UPSC Civil services, IFS & CAPF exam in which many candidates mentored by him are selected.
Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS, CP Rachakonda has wished the successful candidates should aim higher. While quoting late President of India APJ Abdul Kalam he said ‘lower aim is a crime. Dream high and put in efforts to achieve the goal’. He advised them to prepare for state and Union Public services exams. He also thanked Gagandeep Singh Kohli, Vice Chairman Gurunanak institutions, Venkatrao, chairman Indu colleges and P.Jagdeesh Reddy for the support they gave in conducting the coaching classes.
