At least 32 devotees from Andhra Pradesh were killed and 15 seriously injured when their private bus fell into a river near Naldurg on the Hyderabad-Solapur highway in Osmanabad district, about 300 km from here early today.
According to information reaching here, the mishap occurred when the bus, on way from Hyderabad to Shirdi,
plunged into the river after the driver lost control over the vehicle, police said.
After the incident, Osmanabad police rushed to the spot and rescue operations were in progress. The dead are still
to be identified.
The injured had been shifted to the Osmanabad and Solapur hospitals. The reports stated that out of 15 injured, the condition of six was critical, police added.
