When the screams of Muslim men, women and innocent children who were victimized in the Muzaffarnagar riots reached Hyderabad, Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan felt worried. At first he released Rs. 10 lakh from Millat Relief Fund for riot victims. At the second phase Siasat established two schools with the name Hyderabad Millat Public School to equip the victims with education and skills. 313 boys and girls are getting education in the schools. Apart from this vocational course was offered for adult men and women and a computer centre was also set up. Siasat enjoyed complete cooperation of Faiz-e-Aam Trust during all these activities.
Mr. Zahed Ali Khan personally visited the place and met the victims and their children. He told on his return that the Muslims of Muzaffarnagar are very backward in educational field and locals are very happy on the opening of school, computer centre and vocational training centres. They saluted Siasat daily and fraternity of Hyderabadi Muslims. Secretary Faiz-e-Aam Trust Mr. Iftekhar Husain and Mr. Rizwan Hyder Trustee also visited riot hit areas of Muzaffarnagar along with Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and Managing Editor Siasat Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan.
Rs. 2500 per head were given to teachers for encouragement and Rs. 500 were given to each one of the 313 students.
