3000 Cr for statue-500 Cr for Kerala flood! Prakash Raj’s jibe at PM

NEW DELHI: Actor and activists Prakash Raj has once again came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A vocal critic of PM Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA government at the Centre, the National Award winning actor asked the people to think of the insensitive leaders of this country.

He said when Kerala state devastated due to floods, the PM who first announced 100 crores and later 500 crores and who thinks he can spend thousand of crores rupees to build a statue.

He questioned whether a leader with discreet knowledge would do such a job.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, the actor, who has in recent past attacked PM Modi on a range of issues, wrote, ‘STATUE or HUMAN BEING..Dear TROLLS..and FAKE NEWS FACTORY OWNERS who distorted what I said in an interaction on GOD.. WOMEN n RELIGION..will you try DISTORTING this one too OR does it not serve your purpose..#justasking.’

Raj has previously blamed the saffron party and other right-wing groups for creating an “atmosphere of fear” in the country.

Raj also questioned Modi’s silent on the 2nd anniversary of Demonetisation adding if it had became successful, the Saffron Party would have created enough hungama but remained silent as the reform had only ruined the lives of common man.
