Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police is implementing penalty point system for violation of traffic rules. After the implementation of this system, many citizens were fined including policemen. The details of the persons fined have been put on social media, Facebook and WhatsApp which reveal that commuters violated the rules by not wearing helmets, triple riding and fake number plates. People invited the attention of the DGP, Commissioner of Police and Ministers as a result of which Police Department was forced to take action against Policemen.

Former MBT Corporator, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid campaigned against the policemen violating the traffic rules which resulted in the issuance of memos to them. This was made public through social media.
