Ara (Bihar), October 18: Thirty people were taken ill, 12 of them seriously, after eating ‘prasad’ at a Lakshmi Puja at Banauli village in Bihar’s Bhojpur district in Bihar today, police said.
The 12 people seriously ill were rushed to Ara sadar hospital.
Police said that a team of doctors had been sent to the affected village to ascertain the cause of the food poisoning.
