ALLAHABAD: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who is known for its Hindutva ideology announced that the number of Muslim students studying in their schools across Uttar Pradesh had increased by 30 percent over the last two years after a BJP-led government came to power at the Centre.
The RSS praised Muslim boys and girls and said these students were following all rules like reciting ‘slokas’ and ‘bhojan mantras’, with great enthusiasm and were doing very well in studies and sports. Most of these students are enrolled in rural areas.
Not only in academics the students are doing well in the fields of sports, cultural activities and academics, they said.
Authorities at Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Saraswati Vidya Mandir said these students have made their parents proud too.
There are over 7,000 Muslim students studying in 1,200 RSS-run schools across UP.
Chintamani Singh, state inspector of Vidya Bharti, who manages these schools said. “The quality of education is the prime reason why Muslim parents send their wards to our schools.”
