It is very strange that Muslim community is getting entangled in the clutches of the Mortgagers and Money Lenders. They are unaware of the seriousness of this evil. A day will come when all their pleasures would come to an end when Allah will question them on the Day of Judgment about not taking any action to save their Muslim brethren to save them from the evil of paying interest. At that time there tongues will be dumb. They will not have any reply.
Staff Reporter of Siasat surveyed Edi Bazaar and nearby areas. He came to know that there are thirty mortgage centers in these areas. All the Money Lender are non-Muslims whereas the customers are all the Muslims. Poor people mortgage their belongings including ornaments to take loan for celebrating marriage and other functions.
The rich persons of the Muslim community should think seriously the ways and means to relief the poor Muslims of this evil.
