On Tuesday, after being alerted by locals in the evening, police cordoned off areas surrounding Gandipet tank, Narsingi police detained 30 youngsters indulging in racing and seized their two wheelers.
Narsingi Inspector T Anand Reddy Said, “All offenders are from Attapur, Falaknuma, and Mehdipatnam and Langer Houz areas. We are planning to register a case against the offenders under section 279 of the IPC for rash driving. “All the accused are students and petty workers aged between 18 and 26.
