A three year old boy died after a giant speaker, fitted atop a wooden stool collapsed at Kachakatti near Vadipatti near here during a marriage function, police said.
The boy, who suffered severe head injury, died on way to Government Rajaji Hospital Police said the Speaker had not been mounted properly on the stool. Action would be initiated against the owner of the Speaker company, they said.
