New Delhi: A three-year-old boy drowned in a canal while playing near it in Trikuta Nagar here, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday when the boy was playing near the canal. The body was fished out of the canal with the help of the locals, they said.
The boy’s parents are migrant labourers from Uttar Pradesh, police said, adding a case has been registered.
In another incident, a 35-year-old man was electrocuted last evening when he touched a live wire while doing some repair work at his house in Kathua here, police said.
