Hyderabad, February 15: Plans are underway to shut down schools with less than 10 students. Those schools include government, Mandal and Zilaparishad and also schools run under municipal administration. Schools with less than 10 students are said to be difficult to run hence it will be advised to shift the students in nearby schools. It has also been reported that government has set up a committee to bring changes in teachers’ rationalization method.
As of now it is being reviewed to shift the students to nearby schools in view of primary schools within the distance of one kilometer.
Efforts are needed to increase the number of students in the schools lest the schools will be closed down and the students will be shifted to the nearby schools which will create transportation problem.
