A 55-year-old man died on the spot after he was hit by a RTC bus near Sayeedabad crossroads on Friday morning.
The victim, Md Abdul Nabi, was a watchman in Noor High School in Kurmaguda and used to reside in the same premises. He was a native of Karnataka. He met with the accident today at about 9.45 am when he went out to attend some work near the school, according to Sub-Inspector Parmeshwar.
In another case, 30-year-old E Ashok died on the spot after he was hit by an unidentified bus near Tarnaka on Thursday night. According to Osmania University police, Ashok, a resident of Habsiguda, met with the accident while trying to cross the road.
In a different case, B Chandrashekar, 32, died on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a tipper lorry on Kontlur road on Thursday night. He was a production manager in a private firm and resident of Nagole. A case has been registered against the lorry driver for rash driving, according to Hayathnagar police. (INN)
