In separate cases, three pedestrians were killed in different road accidents in the city.
A 60-year-old woman suffered grievous injuries when she hit by a RTC bus while she was crossing a road in KPHB area on Saturday morning. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The Pet Basheerabad police later identified the deceased as S Sarojini, a resident of Kukatpally.
In a different case, V Hanumanthu, 46, succumbed to the injuries which he suffered on December 17 after he was hit by a motorcycle near Satvahana Nagar. He was admitted to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) at Panjagutta where he died today. He was an employee of a private firm and residence of Kurmaguda in Saidabad, according to LB Nagar police.
In another case, 32-year-old B Anjeneyulu died of injuries which he sustained on December 19 after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle near his residence in Ghatkesar. He succumbed at Gandhi Hospital on Saturday while undergoing treatment. (INN)
