Lakhipur: Three persons went missing after a boat capsized in a lake in Cachar district today, an official said.
The boat with nine persons on board capsized near Gosainagar area of Lakhipur sub-division this afternoon.
“Three persons have gone missing while six were rescued by fishermen,” Lakhipur Sub-Divisional Officer J R Lalsin said.
Disaster response force personnel were called in to help in the rescue operation.
