As many as three chain snatching incidents were reported on Tuesday during 45 minutes time wherein a gang of unidentified thieves made three women the target of their crime at different places.
In the first case, two unidentified thieves riding black scooter snatched one Bharti’s chain weighing 4 tolas at Tadbun crossroad at 10 am.
While in another incident occurred at Chilkalguda at 10:40 am one Shobha’s chain weighing 7 tolas was snatched away when she was crossing the road at Padma Rao nagar to give tiffin to her husband. Shobha also became the victim of the same thieves riding black scooter.
And the same gang of thieves snatched away the gold chain of 64 year old Roja Rani resident of Vidyanagar at 10:45 when she was returning home from temple after puja.
