Hyderabad, April 11: In a major breakthrough, the city police arrested three persons involved in the murder of bank employee K Satyanarayana and Narasaiah during the recent communal clashes in the Old City.
In a press release police said that six persons have been identified for their involvement but only three have been arrested.
Shaik Atif, Mohammed Javed Shaik and Shaik Abdul Basith have been arrested and produced before the magistrate Saturday. However, Mohammed ALi of Fathe Darawaza, Nadeem and Irfan of Shalibanda are still absconding.
The arrested persons were sent to remand for a period of 14 days.
