3 held for duping ICICI Bank

Hyderabad, August 21: A person, who duped several private finance institutions and a corporate bank to the tune of Rs 1.75 crore, and his two associates were arrested on Wednesday by the Cyberabad police.

The accused, Dasarath Neta, is a resident of Erragadda and owns a flat at SR Naik Nagar in Jeedimetla. He created duplicate copies of the house he owns and transferred the same on the names of his associates, Chandrasekhar and Narender. By submitting the documents, they obtained loans to the tune of Rs 1.75 crore from five private finance institutions apart from ICICI Bank and also a private housing finance company, Housing Bulls, Jeedimetla police inspector S Gangaram said.

All the three accused were arrested for cheating, the inspector said.
