3 girls students injured in ‘revenge’ attack

New Delhi, December 07: Three girls were injured today when brothers of some of their co-students allegedly beat them up near their government-run school in north-west Delhi in an apparent fallout of a fight between two groups of students.

The incident took place near Rajakiya Uchatar Balika Vidyalya in Shalimar Bagh around two pm when a group of girls accompanied by some boys, who are believed to be their brothers, allegedly attacked the girls.

“They beat up the girls in front of people and then ran away. All of them are minors,” a senior police official said.

According to the official, today’s fight was the fallout of a scuffle some Class X girl students had with Class XI girls. Two of the girls suffered minor injuries while one of them suffered a fracture and have been taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital.
