The 3-day Tableeghi Ijtema will begin on Saturday at the vast ground of Pahadi Shareef. According to organisers 5 lakh people are expected to attend the congregation. Thus it will be the 2nd biggest congregation of the country. This is the first ijtema after formation of Telangana and government is extending all possible support to it. Delegations from foreign countries are also likely to attend the congregation besides delegation from various states of the country.
Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana visited Pahadi Shareef along with the officials of Municipal, Electricity and Water Board, Police and Law and Order Department, to oversee the arrangements being made for smooth conduct of Tablighi Ijtema. He instructed the officials to provide all facilities for ijtema. 1.65 thousand litre water is being supplied for ablution house and toilets. Mr. Mahmood Ali said over 4000 police constables will be deployed at the venue.
It must be noted that the congregation will be held on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of November. Tents have been erected on 250 acres of land.
