Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) and the Bhubaneswar-based All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER) are jointly organising a three-day International Conference on “Lifelong Learning” from March 25 to 27 at MANUU campus.
The Conference is jointly hosted by Directorate of Distance Education and Department of Education and Training, MANUU.
About 74 papers will be presented at the conference which is broadly classified into seven subthemes.
Delegates of the Conference comprise academicians, teachers and research scholars from Canada, Nepal, Bangladesh, United States of America, United Arab Emirates and from different states in the country.
Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor, and Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MANUU, have said that the conference aims at exploring new vistas around the theme of lifelong learning.
Dr Sunil Behari Mohanty, President, Prof Mushtaq Ahmed I. Patel and Dr. A. Ranganath, Vice Presidents, and Dr V S Sumi, Joint Secretary, of AIAER will participate in the Conference while Prof V Sudhakar from EFLU, Hyderabad, will address the Inaugural session as the chief guest. Prof Matiul Alam, former Professor at University of British Columbia and Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, Dean Academics, MANUU will deliver plenary talks. Prof Sandra Poirier and Dr D Wooldridge from Middle Tennessee State University, USA, will speak with the participants through Skype.
