Andhra Mahila Sabha run Arts & Science College for Women, OU Campus, in collaboration with APSCHE will be organizing an international conference on “Free Trade Opportunities and Challenges” for three days from April 12 at IICT.
In a pressnote, the college principal has stated that the college was functioning from 1968. The Andhra Mahila Sabha was rendering yeomen service in the field of women’s empowerment. The Department of Commerce and Economics are jointly conducting the three-day seminar.
The conference would discuss about Free Trade policy which prefers a trade policy without any tariffs, quantitative restrictions and other devices obstructing the movement of goods between countries. Free Trade leads to maximization of output, income, employment and production of quality goods at low prices because of world competition. Free Trade promotes international cooperation, the pressnote added. (NSS)
