New Delhi, January 21: CBI special judge OP Saini today reserved his order for February 4 on the plea of Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy seeking prosecution of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G spectrum scam case.
Dr Swamy’s arguments in this regard have been concluded in the Patiala House court.
He told the court that he wanted to make Mr Chidambaram a co-accused in the 2G scam case.
Dr Swamy has alleged that Mr Chidambaram colluded with former Telecom Minister A Raja on matters related to fixing of the spectrum price.
Raja is lodged in Tihar jail since February in connection with the case.
The Janata Party president has claimed that the evidence he had brought on the court’s record prima facie show that Mr Chidambaram was “equally culpable” as Raja.
“Chidambaram and Raja had decided on spectrum pricing jointly,” Dr Swamy told reporters later.
The former Union Minister alleged that Mr Chidambaram, the then Finance Minister, had “full knowledge” of the 2G spectrum matter.
