2BHK gets Hudco award

In a significant development the flagship scheme of two bedroom housing in Telangana has been awarded by Centre for efficient work and quality.

On behalf of the Telangana Government, Chitra Ramachandran, Principal Secretary of Housing, has received the prestigious HUDCO award. Union Minister Hardeep Puri presented the award to Telangana Housing Corporation and Chitra Ramachandran received it at India Habitat Centerstine Auditorium in Delhi.
The program was conducted to mark the 48th foundation day of HUDCO. Hardeep Puri appreciated Telangana Government for maintain better quality and efficient works in the prestigious double bedroom houses for the poor. The state government is making the best efforts for providing free of cost the two bedroom houses to the poor in villages and towns the Union Minister noted. With its own expenditure the Telangana Government is providing the double bedroom facility with quality, creativity and transparency.
Also present on behalf of the State Government were Hudco Chairman and Managing Director Ravikanth, GHMC Additional Commissioner Bharathi and Housing Chief Engineer Satyamurthy. It may be said here that the state government is planning to provide housing facility to the poor to make better living. As many as one lakh houses in the city and more than one lakh houses of double bedroom units in the districts are to be built and the works are on under the scheme.(NSS)
