The Cyberabad Police has booked as many as 287 cases from 3rd to 9th January for violation of traffic norms on the Outer Ring Road.
Of them, 71 cases were of wrong parking and 216 were of driving on wrong side / entry from wrong side/Dangerous Driving/Lane Violation. The total fine amount collected was Rs 2,37,700/-.
Asking people to adhere to the rules made for the ORR, the Cyberabad Police said people may (call on 040 – 2300 2424 / 8500411111 (Cyberabad Traffic Police Control Room) in case of any emergency.
The ORR patrolling scheme was launched on January 18. As a part of this plan, four patrolling vehicles have been pressed into service from Peddamberpet to Shamirpet through Shamshabad. (INN)
