Miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 2.80 lakh from a private company employee near busy Arundoya Market in Cuttack today.
Police said two employees of the city-based company were carrying the amount after withdrawing it from a nearby
branch of a nationalised bank when two unidentified persons coming in a motorcycle intercepted them and decamped with the booty.
“Artratrana Sahu and Ranjit Kumar Sahu were walking back to their office located on the other side of the bank
when the incident took place”, police said quoting the complainants.
