266 cases booked on ORR in six days

The Outer Ring Road (ORR) Patrolling vehicles booked 266 cases from March 7 to 13. Out of these, 78 were of wrong parking, 188 driving on wrong side/entry from wrong side/dangerous driving/lane violation and so on. The government has collected a total fine of Rs 2,19,300. From January 1, 2015 to March 13, the number of total cases was 2,643 and fine amount was Rs 21,38,600.
It may be mentioned here that the ORR Patrolling Scheme was launched on January 18 last year. As a part of the plan, four patrolling vehicles have been pressed into service from Peddamberpet to Shamirpet through Shamshabad.
The Cyberabad Traffic police has asked the people to adhere to the rules made for Outer Ring Road (ORR) and call on 040 – 2300 2424 / 8500411111 (Cyberabad Traffic Police Control Room) in case of any emergency. (NSS)
