Mumbai, March 16: The special court hearing the November 26, 2008, terror attacks case on Monday asked the prosecution and defence lawyers to finish their final arguments by March 20.
Special judge M.L. Tahilyani, presiding over the trial, said he would defer the case for delivering judgment if the arguments are concluded by March 20.
The final verdict, deciding the fate of the sole surviving Pakistani gunman, Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, and suspected Lashkar-e-Tayyeba local operatives, Fahim Arshad Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed, is likely to be declared within a month after the final arguments are over.
