Kolkata, December 22: Former Attorney General of India Soli Sorabjee today said the judge trying 26/11 attacks accused Ajmal Kasab should be more strict in dealing with the case.
“The judge should be more strict. How can the accused be allowed to make statements like he had come to act in Bollywood,” Sorabjee said during an interaction here.
“Is this a James Bond movie being enacted or what,” the eminent jurist asked.
Kasab, the only Pakistani terrorist apprehended alive in the attacks, recently told the judge that he was not involved in the attack and had come to Mumbai to be an actor.
Sorabjee also questioned how the prosecution could name 204 witnesses. “It could be at the most 12 to 14. Is this a joke,” he questioned.
