Mumbai, May 11: Fahim Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed, acquitted in the Mumbai terror attacks case, will be handed over to Uttar Pradesh police in a day or two in connection with a case pertaining to attack on a CRPF camp in 2007, police said today.
Fahim and Sabauddin, allegedly involved in the terror attack on the CRPF camp in Rampur on December 31, 2007, were brought to Mumbai in December 2008 in connection with 26/11 case by Maharashtra Police.
“The UP police will take the custody of the duo still lodged in the Arthur Road jail, in a day or two. Legal procedures in this regard are underway,” a source told PTI.
