Bundi: A 26-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in Devpura area, police said today.
Kamaljeet Singh, a tailor by profession, hanged himself as he was apparently depressed due to family issues, Sadar police station SHO Anis Ahmed said.
According to him, Singh hanged himself as he was depressed due to family problems, however, no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
The incident came to light today when family members of the victim noticed him hanging from the ceiling fan following which he was rushed to the hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead, he said.
The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem, Ahmed said, adding a case has been registered under section 174 of CrPc and investigation is underway.
