Finance Minister and Exhibition Society president Etela Rajender has announced that the State government will hand over the 26 acre land, which was presently under Roads & Buildings Department where industrial exhibition is conducted every year, permanently to the Exhibition Society within a few days.
Addressing the media at Exhibition Grounds here on Wednesday, Etela said the Society, which was extending great service to the society through quality education on par with the corporate colleges without donations, would start old age home and orphanage in Karimnagar district and Polytechnic College at Suryapet. He said the Exhibition Society was striving for the education of poor children by flourishing the Exhibition Society for 365 days earning money.
About 76th All India Industrial Exhibition-2016, Etela said over 2600 stalls would be installed this year. Wi-Fi facility, free parking would be provided to the visitors. He said several entertainment programs like Children’s Day on January 31, Well Baby Show on first week of February and Cookery Competition will be conducted on February 7. Etela said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would inaugurate the 76th All India Industrial Exhibition-2016 at 5pm on January 1. The exhibition would be held from January 1 to February 15. (NSS)
