Hyderabad: Finance Department has released 20 Cr for implementation of scheme related to monthly honorarium to Imams and Muezzins while orders were issued for release of 32 Cr.
It must be recalled that 63 Cr were allocated for the scheme related to honourarium to Imams and Muezzins during the financial year 2016-17 and the government released 16.5 Cr in the first phase while orders were issued for release of 32 Cr however only 20 Cr were released. Thus at the end of this financial year 26.5 Cr will go back to government treasury.
