State Government has selected 258 candidates under Overseas Scholarship Scheme they will be provided financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh by the government. A meeting of Selection Committee was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Committee Chairman Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel Secretary Minority Welfare in which selection of candidate was made. According to details 513 candidates submitted applications of which 258 were selected. They will be provided Rs. 10 lakh to study abroad and one side fare. Besides that 97 candidates have also been selected who have been kept in the waiting list. Since visas were not issued to them they will be handed over letter in the second phase in the month of January 2016.
