A fire at a hospital has left 25 dead and 107 injured in Saudi Arabia, officials said.
It is thought the blaze was on the first floor – where the maternity ward and intensive care unit are located.
The Saudi Civil Defence department said in a post on Facebook that the fire started at about 2.30am local time.
The site was evacuated by emergency services and the fire brought under control.
The cause of the blaze at Jazan General Hospital is unknown and an investigation is underway, Saudi Civil Defence officials said.
