New Delhi, November 12: Twenty-five young achievers will be presented with the National Child Awards for their exceptional performance in various fields on Children’s day, November 14.
The children between the age group 4-15 years have performed exceptionally in fields like academics, art, culture and sports.
The awards, to be presented by Minister for Women and Child Development Krishna Tirath, would include a gold medal with cash prize of Rs 20,000 and a citation and 24 silver medal with cash prize Rs 10,000 and a citation.
The prizes would be given away on Children’s Day, which is also the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the country’s first Prime Minister.
