24-year-old biker hurt by school van hired by TRS party

 

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old biker was severely injured when a school van hired by TRS party for transporting its party workers for the plenary in Warangal in Medak district on Thursday.

 

The van which belonged to Vigna Talent School (TS 15UA 4953)  in Narayankhed hit Sainala Ravi at a high speed while he was going on his bike (AP 23C 1202) to purchase fuel. 

 

Ravi a resident of Lakshminagar tanda works for a rice mill. He sustained severe injuries on head and legs and the bike was also damaged.

 

The bus driver, Upender, immediately fled away from the scene. Ravi was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition.

 

At least  25 activists were present in the van. TRS party Narayankhed unit hired around 25 school buses and vans which belongs to private schools in the area to transport its workers to Warangal to attend the party.

 

Police registered an accident case and seized the school van.
