IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that 24 services of RTA are being provided online to the people in the state. KTR inaugurated an RTA office at Bandlaguda in Chandrayangutta constituency. KTR also participated in other developmental works of construction of four reservoirs and two bedroom houses to the poor in the old city. He toured some of the old city areas along with Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali, Home Minister, N Narsimha Reddy and others.
Speaking on the occasion the IT and Panchayat Raj Minister asserted that Telangana will become a role model state in the country. It is good to see that the RTA services go online and will prove handy KTR noted. He alleged that the previous governments ignored to construct a single reservoir for drinking water facility in the city. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced to build two 30 tmc capacity reservoirs to cater to the needs in Hyderabad, the minister remarked. Stating that the government is giving priority to Muslim Minorities welfare he said that Rs 51000 being offered through Shadi Mubarak for Muslim girls to get married. Real Telangana is possible with the poor of the old city getting housing facility he said adding that government lands will be given to all religions for burial grounds. People are happy as they are able to get uninterrupted power, he added.
Telangana Government is providing permanent shelter to the poor in the city free of cost he said. We have constructed 400 double bedroom houses for the poor in IDH colony and 10000 houses will also be constructed in the city this year, he said. Narsimha Reddy said that the poor in the old city will get double bedroom houses.(NSS)
