Jammu, June 10: Security forces have recovered 230 kilograms of poppy straw on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district of Jammu division, police said today. A joint team of Police and CRPF during a routine patrolling recovered the consignment near Nashri Nullah, about 165-kms from here, yesterday, they said.
The unclaimed narcotics in the bags was probably thrown by some truck driver, they said, adding that the poppy straw was seized and a case was registered in this regard.
