In a ghastly incident a man along with his two friends allegedly raped a minor girl who lives in his neighborhood in BodUppal area of Medipally.
According to police the prime accused, Ravi, 23, a car driver and the 17-year-old victim are neighbors. About ten days ago, Ravi called the victim over the phone saying that he wanted to meet her to a spot near Boduppal.
He then took her to a vacant house and then called two of his friends Suri, 23, a car driver and Layman alias Ulu, 23, a labourer to the hous. THE gang consume food and lquor and then took turns to rape her. She managed to escape and told her parents.
The victim escaped and went to her relative’s house in Warangal district. Meanwhile, her parents, who were searching for her, lodged a complaint. She returned home a couple of days ago and informed them about the rape,” said inspector B. Naveen Reddy.
A gang rape case was booked and the accused were arrested and remanded on Saturday.
