23 Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh’s Jagdalpur

Bastar (Chhattisgarh) : As many as 23 Naxals on Wednesday surrendered to the Chhattisgarh Police in Jagdalpur area.

The Naxals surrendered to Bastar Inspector General ( IG) S.R.P. Kalluri, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajendra Das and District Collector Amit Kataria.

All the Naxals were active since 2004 and were active in many incidents.

Earlier, 23 Naxals, including two women, surrendered to the Chhattisgarh police in Bastar district.

The surrender of the Naxals is continuing for the last three months, as they are unhappy with the Naxal ideology. (ANI)
