New Delhi: Commenting upon the results of assembly elections in 5 states, Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that India will become BJP-mukt in 2019. General elections are scheduled next year. The assembly elections were being seen as the semifinal for the next parliamentary elections.
Senior leader of AAP and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said India will be BJP-mukt in 2019. He said the assembly election results indicate that people are fed up with the attacks. He said BJP should have sought votes on the basis of work, not in the name of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Sanjay Singh said farmers, women, youth and businessmen were unhappy with the policies of BJP.
On the question of the performance of Aam Aadmi Party in the elections, he said it is their beginning they have fought elections with their limited resources.
