New Delhi : South Korean multinational conglomerate company Samsung on Monday announced the launch of the 2016 editions of its Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones in India.
The cost of the smartphones are Rs. 13,990 and Rs. 15,990 respectively. The Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a 2GB of RAM and an HD display unlike 3GB of RAM and full-HD display seen in the China variant.
Galaxy J5 also include a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super Amoled display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM and is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
The Galaxy J7 (2016) on the other hand features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super Amoled display and is powered by an Exynos (model unspecified) octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The handset is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
The smartphones comes in Radiant Gold, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colour variants and would be available for sale on Flipkart from Tuesday. (ANI)
