Ahmedabad, June 09: Twenty pilgrims were killed and several injured near Dholka in Ahmedabad after a truck ran over them, after losing control early on Thursday morning.
The incident took place at 3 am on Thurday morning, when the pilgrims, who were travelling on foot, were on their way to a Dargah in Bahdiyad and had stopped for the night to rest on the roadside.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. The police have reached the spot and fear that the death toll could rise.
