Convenor Telangana two wheelers association Mohammed Amanullah Khan and other leaders Messrs Mir Farooq Ali, G Ravinder and Saleem Khan said that on one hand state government has made helmet mandatory but on the other hand it is not paying attention towards drunkards. Most of the accidents occur due to drunken driving. Besides that unnecessary speed breakers are also causing accidents. They demanded that the government cancel helmet rule.
In this connection a special meeting will be held on March 20, at Basheer Bagh Press Club and hunger strike will be launched on March 21 against helmet rule. Hyderabad bandh will be observed on March 26. They appealed Hyderabadi residents especially youth to support their cause.
