2 school employees held for strip punishment

The city police cracked the whip on the management of a Tolichowki school where a five-year old was stripped last Saturday and arrested two employees of the institution accused of committing the outrageous act. The action was taken by a police team along with the members of AP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

As per the details a 5-year-old student of Embassy High School was stripped and locked up in a room as part of the punishment. The incident evoked angry outbursts from people who demanded stringent action against the school management. Reacting swiftly the State Child Rights Commission and the Minorities Commission directed the police to look into the matter.

On Tuesday a police team and members of AP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights arrested the helper, who allegedly undressed the boy, and in-charge, who allegedly issued instructions to the helper.
