2 major parks of the city NTR Garden and Sanjeeva Park, which were shut down following Dilsukhnagar twin blasts occurred on February 21, have been yesterday opened for visitors. The visitors arrived to visit recreational parks such as NTR Ghat, NTR Garden, Sanjeeva Park were finally allowed to enter the parks.
Following the twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar last month, Lumbini Park and the said three parks run by HMDA were closed for the visitors. Meanwhile the concerned officials assessed complete security arrangements, finished the repair work of the CCTV camera installed in the parks and also installed devices which can detect explosive materials.
According to a top official of HMDA, the security staff deployed in these parks has been given special training by Hyderabad city police so that they can deal with the possibilities of any untoward situation.
