A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling in Raidurgam police limits.
According to Sub-Inspector B Naik, the deceased, Mandali Buddu alias Raju, took the extreme step on Friday night at his residence in Khajaguda near Serilingampally. He was reportedly under mental depression since the death of his son about two years ago. The same is suspected to have driven him to suicide.
In another case, 38-year-old Syed Sabir died after consuming some unknown poison. He took the extreme step at his residence in Sardar Bagh in Langar Houz police limits on Friday. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission. Ill-health is suspected to be the reason behind suicide. (INN)
