Gaza:Israeli airstrikes killed two Palestinians riding a motorbike in northern Gaza Strip, officials said on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses and paramedics said an Israeli missile hit a motorbike killing two riders which the Israeli Army spokesman has denied, Xinhua news agency reported.
The deceased, identified as Hassan Ghazi Nasrallah and Mustafa al-Sultan, were members of Islamic Jihad armed wing Saraya al-Quds, said Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qedra.
The tension in the Gaza Strip has been escalating since US President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel last week. Several rockets were fired from the coastal enclave into Israel over the past few days.
Al-Qedra said at least five people were injured as clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli soldiers continued on Tuesday.
