Jamshedpur, August 29: Two members of a gang which used to extort levy (money) for Naxalites have been arrested from Patamda area of East Singhbhum district, police said today. Addressing a press conference here this evening, Senior Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Jha said Seket Das resident of Patoria village in West Midnapore district of West Bengal and Sapan Baske resident of Telidih under Bodam police station of East Singhbhum district were arrested yesterday on a tip-off. Rs. 15000 cash, three cell phones and pro-naxal pamphlets have been recovered from them. We are trying to nab the two other absconding members of the gang, He added.
